Ignorance is bliss. Really!
Why have we lost the ability to be surprised and dazzled? Just ask yourself-when was the last time you were astounded by something that you saw and continued to be astounded for a long time? You might have been surprised by some things that caught your eye but the Internet and the huge volume of information available online would have quickly helped you realize the truth. This is a good thing, right? Wrong.
Just look at our history. Throughout the ages, we have always focused on things that dazzled us and held us in disbelief. It is this sensation that has helped the human race progress. The flight of the birds astounded us. Why cannot we fly? We spent quite a lot of time analyzing this question and ultimately found the answer. The Internet has acted as a game changer because it has brought forth the sum total of our knowledge and information to our fingertips. Have you just seen a show of a magician London?
Well, the Internet can help you keep track of each and every trick that was performed and can help you break it down into logical steps. We are satisfied that we know the real truth. However, we soon end up becoming cynical because we seem to know it all. This is the reason why I feel we should purposefully focus on certain things in our lives that have no explanations whatsoever.
God is a sensible option because nobody can explain God using logic. Many persons believe that they will be satisfied with a world dominated by logic and reason. The truth is that this will make the entire world very boring. Just take a look at a child who has absolutely no idea how things work around him or her. The child probably has more fun in a single day than we have in a single year.
