Hypertension Eases Weightloss

It baffles me how people just don’t seem to get it. for years doctors and everybody else having saying that being overweight is not good for your health. Yet people still pack on the pound more than ever. Recently I was told that hypertension is one of the main silent killers worldwide and that weight is a contributing factor.

Hypertension, also known as high blood pressure, is a health condition where the pressure in your arteries is elevated. This occurs when your arteries are made more narrow, forcing your heart to pump harder, exerting greater pressure on the arteries.

Arteries clogged with fatty tissue often result in hypertension. Cholesterol, which is one kind of fat produced in your liver or intestines, clogs your arteries'inner walls. If you are overweight or obese with excess fatty tissue, there is a high likelihood that you will suffer from high blood pressure.

Hypertension is a serious medical condition that can lead to heart attack, stroke, or diabetes. You can reduce your blood pressure by losing weight and reducing the amount of fatty tissue blocking your arteries.

There are many fad diets that claim to help you lose weight, but a healthy diet and regular exercise is the most effective, lasting way to do so. Lifestyle changes, not fad diets, are the key to healthy weight loss and management.

Eating healthy, sensible foods, in sensible portions, and drinking wellness water, is essential to losing weight. Exercise, even something as simple as walking for 30 minutes a day, is also essential. Exercise helps you expend more calories, as well as help you increase metabolism, which helps reduce fat in your body, and fat clogging your arteries. Always consult with a doctor before embarking on a new exercise regimen.
